My grandma really wanted to see the Jubilee procession, so has been with us in London over the past few days.

On Saturday we spent a good few hours cooking an incredible lunch, while listening to my ipod on shuffle. When The Tallest Man on Earth came on, my grandma, nana, started dancing to it, saying it was like line dancing music. I stood from my position beside the mirror in the kitchen, and looked through at her figure dancing in the lounge. It was such a beautiful memory that I went upstairs and dug up my glasses (having not bothered with contacts that morning) so that I could remember it in all its high-defenition beauty.

It made me think; what a beautiful thought that I wanted to remember something in every possible way, as much as possible and in the most beautiful way, and that I could. I should start always wearing glasses, because you never know when beautiful, timeless, heartfelt moments are going to happen.

I then went on to join her, dancing in the afternoon sunlight to Peggy Sue.

Shan't forget this.
